he is being treated at school and on line and through text that her brother and friends are going to beat him up. they were waiting for him when we dropped him off at school today. my husband spoke to the on campus officer and was told they can't protect him all the time and it was ok to defend him self. the principal told me on Friday he was guilty because she had to witnesses with out even asking his side. I am afraid to send him back to school. do I need an attorney?

An attorney would be very wise. This could lead to things up to and including criminal charges and placement on a sex offender list, at the extreme. Speak with the principal and superintendent about his safety and insist that they follow all procedures for investigations that their policies require, not just assume guilt because someone told them so. Do all these requests in writing. File a formal complaint with the school in writing about the brother and friends' threats.

Yes, I would say it would be in your son's best interest to hire an attorney. I also would suggest that you refrain from posting details about the situation on public websites such as this.
