What will happen to the H1B employees, if company shutdown by Federal govt due to visa fraud?

My friend got H1B visa in 2013 through a company, which is recently shutdown by Govt because of H1B visa fraud. He never utilized his H1B. Whether he will be able to transfer his H1B to another employer or USCIS automatically cancels the validity of all H1B visas of that company?

He will not be able to transfer and depending on his knowledge of the fraud, he also may be complicit in the fraud. Why would someone enter on an H-1B but not commence employment with the company?

bad things happen to people involved in a fraud. and if indirectly caught up in it, your friend might want to take steps to distance himself from it - in case he finds himself "tainted" later on.
