What is appropriate amount of effort to inform another parent and waiting time on decisions to be made?

I give my ex updates on my children dr appts. A couple of them have health issues and all three see a therapist. When providing information to my ex sometimes I need to make sure he agree with treatment &how to proceed. I am under a very fixed budget. And if I don't get him to agree by email I will have to cover cost. At times he refuses to respond to an email. I have a situation I brought to his attention last nov and he never responded and now refusing to pay his portion. By him not responding I thought he didn't have a problem eapecually since it would be at a less cost to treat the kids. By doing all this craziness the kids can not proceed with treatment at times. He likes to stall the system so then others don't want to work with us or it delays the cost and puts it all on me.

Are you saying your Order requires him to agree before he has to pay for half of any costs not covered by health insurance? Usually, there is no such language within the Order. I suggest going to see an attorney and letting them review the Order with you.

Just because he does not respond is not automatic grounds not to pay. It sounds like a mediation or a modification is needed. Good luck!

If your order requires agreement, you need to get it modified. Hire a lawyer to review the order and see what your options are.
