I am on L1A visa, My 7 years in US are going to finish in 6 months on L1 visa. Can I file H1B now thru some other company? My company applied GC on EB2, I140 approved with priority date Jan 2011. What are the options I have to continue my stay in US, after 6 months?

Sorry, it won't work. Why? Because the earliest a company can file is April 1st. Then, assuming they win the lottery, the earliest you can start work is October 1, 2015. Thus, you'll need to spend a few months back home. QUESTION #1: Doesn't your current company want to switch you to H? QUESTION #2: Doesn't your current company want do do an EB-1 for you?
