Get a lawyer now, as the evidence needed for this type of products defect case needs to be preserved quickly or your ability to prove your case will be lost. I'm redirecting this on to attorneys who deal with this area of law,

The sooner you talk to a lawyer after an incident the better. Evidence disappears, washes away, goes missing, is lost...etc. Delay doesn't always but can harm a case. Why wait if your going to consult with an attorney anyway?

I agree with the answers thus far. These are complicated, science-based cases and need to be handled by a competent lawyer as soon as possible.

You should not delay in speaking with a personal injury/products liability attorney to determine if you have a case, and you should keep all the remnants and fragments of the tire and the car that came apart at the accident.
