I owe a woman money for rent. I agree that I owe her and now have the ability to pay her monthly for what is owed.

Should I call her lawyer to arrange a payment schedule. Will they allow that. Will I have to go to court?

If you do not have a lawyer of your own, you are acting as your own attorney and will have to contact her attorney to arrange to deliver the payments you now have(and likely come to some payment agreement). Otherwise they will have no idea that you are ready willing, and able to make payments and may go forward at the next hearing representing to the Judge that no payments have been received. Even though it is said that "money talks" you will have to let her or her attorney know that you have something to "say". If they do not agree to the payment plan you are offering to resolve the debt, it is VERY likely that you should have to appear in court (preferably with an attorney of your own) and continue to negotiate a payment agreement or else conduct a hearing to allow the Judge to decide whether your proposed payments are sufficient.
