Student over 18 would like to live alone, does private school have right to kick me out if school doesn't agree?

Hi, I am a private high school student. I am a foreign national and I am over 18 years old. I live in California. I would like to live alone for the coming semesters. But my private school officials do not agree with my idea. I am not sure they have the right to expel me due to the disagreement of the place I will stay. My parents signed the contract with the school and there's no specific rule defines the place students are designated to live. Does the school have the right to limit the place I live after school if the school is private? Thanks.
Yes, a private school can kick you out. They are saying, "You can live anywhere you want. And if you want to live with your parents, you can continue to go here". Not limiting where you can live. This is not the state saying you must live home. This is a private company saying, We wish you well. Don't let the door hit you on the way out. I think you need to read their policies and handbook. It almost certainly gives them the right to kick you out for any reason or none.
They aren't limiting where you live, they have a condition on your enrollment. It is your choice, and choices have consequences. I can see where the school is coming from. It is basically the same reasons why adults are not permitted to attend a traditional high school.
