We had an interview at Memphis Uscis office regarding to green card through marriage.. I have a legit marriage and we are happily married.. I do not understand why they interviewed us separately .. We submitted all the documents correctly .. And all our answers to the questions match.. At the end we were expecting an approval but they told us we are gonna get a notice in month.. What is next now? I have been reading forums and i got really scared ..

The separation is referred to as a Stokes interview. This is done on two occasions: when a new officer is being trained; and , when fraud is suspected. Your answers were all the same so there is nothing to worry about. Be patient.

As to your "why" question, do not waste your time trying to answer that. it is a rhetorical question. Next? USCIS has 120 days to adjudicate your application so "next" will be a lot of anxious waiting. .
