Do I need to worry?

Assault on a family member...deferred adjudication in Feb 2013, completed anger management Aug 2013, case to be deferred Feb 2015. Well, today I get a summons to appear in April. Is it because of the snow days, or because I didn't complete the terms? All the terms were 2 years of uniform good behavior, anger management, and no hostile contact with my sister.

You should go to the clerk's office and get a copy of your 2013 sentencing order, if it states appearance required for dismissal then that is likely why you are being summoned. However if it states no appearance required for dismissal, then the Commonwealth's Attorney is accusing you of not being of good behavior in some form or fashion and you should hire an attorney. Remember that even a traffic ticket or a drunk in public ticket can count against good behavior. If you have not been of good behavior you will be found guilty of the assault, you could go to jail for up to 12 months, and the misdemeanor will remain on your record forever.

If you completed the terms of your sentence, you do not have anything to worry about. However, if you did not, you might want to hire a lawyer before you return to court. Good luck!
