No one got injured .My car got major damage.Police came after half an hour and after having a look of accident officer said that I was speeding when I was not speeding at all. What should I do I got ticket after 15 days of the accident Can I fight.
This may be an easier case to win since the officers did not actually see anything but rather just assumed you were speeding based on the accident scene. Still, you should hire a lawyer to handle this.
When please respond to an accident, they often issue tickets to any driver they think is at fault. Speed too fast for conditions is a common ticket in the situations. Without witnesses to the actual driving this is hard for the city or state to prove. The trick is using the rules of evidence to keep any evidence from being considered by the court. Usually makes sense to get a ticket lawyer and fight these.
Please go find and retain a lawyer who handles tickets. If your brakes failed, you are going to need your attorney to retain a forensic mechanic to give an opinion on your brakes. You cannot just say "they failed" without proof. And the officer needs to qualify as an accident reconstruction specialist in order to give an opinion about an accident they did not witness. The ticket might have been filed too late, that is hard to tell from your facts as given. But you are going to do better with a lawyer. The court in Kirkland cuts no slack - none - to pro se litigants.

of course you can always fight the ticket and of course you can win of you hire a really good lawyer from who can find you an expert that distress and can prove scientifically that there was no way you were speeding when you hit th car because of the failed brakes. if your car was driving at the speed limit and the brakes failed while you were going down hill you have a valid reason for going over the speed limit and use the Rgument that you were not speeding the brakes failed and there was nothing you could do. Good luck with this case. Let us know how it went.
