Back in Oct 2014 I was trying to leave my husband due to abuse I found a income based apartment. When I was bring in my deposit for the apartment. My landlord Secretary called my mother's house who both husband and I were living in and told my husband that I was getting an apartment. The day or two before we ( The Secretary and I) both signed a paper stating that the ONLY person she is allowed to talk to was my mother in case of an emergency. I wouldn't have paid for a 12 lease if I had known she was going to careless about it. Can you image if I would have been killed because of her

If you're concerned about the way she does her job, tell her boss. Make your complaint about her clear, measured, and free of exaggeration. Spell out exactly what you had a problem with, and what you would like to see happen. That being said, if you are afraid of your husband's abuse, consider obtaining a civil protection order. If you already have one, inform your landlord so he or she may understand your concerns better.

I do not see a legal question here, but I agree with Mr. Mullen. The secretary may have been unaware of the situation, or who she was speaking with when she called your mother's house. If you have a problem with this, make it clear to your landlord.
