Sexual harassment investigation was left open to others what can I do?

I got Sexually harassed at my workplace and investigation was placed and the outcome was favorable but the actual investigation paper work with many others and workers statements from not just my invet. But others were in a public area not locked up for coworkers to see. By the time I noticed it was probably 6 months later. And now the manager that was suppose to lock up these records is calling other managers asking me why I went higher up to report it and I feel like it's retaliation. I know if I go further it's just going to blow up in my face. What are my rights federally and state wise when it came to this and also does it have to do with just company rules? I'm getting to the point I would file a lawsuit if it keeps up honestly I don't want to work for a company that runs this way.

It's a little hard to evaluate your case without more information, but from what you are saying, it seems like you may have a claim for retaliation under state and federal law. Your best bet is to speak to a lawyer who specializes in employment law. It would be better to do so before you quit.
