I got a DUI in 2006 blew a .07 but some how they made it stick then the state stepped in and has made it a living hell to deal with them in an organized manner. So I need help to get them to release my driving privileges so I can get my lic back I had a pace maker put in sept 5th of 2013 and I no longer can drink alcohol I did a lot of stupid things to my driving history but that was then now I just need to move on please help Thank you

I dealt with an issue last year relating to an Illinois license suspension being enforced in Oregon. In my former client's situation, someone used her identity during a traffic stop and didn't appear in the Illinois court. When no one appeared at the traffic hearing, the court suspended my former client's license. All of my attempts to communicate with the court and even directly with the judge were fruitless. The court required my former client to travel to Illinois to appear personally to be heard. I was appalled. This is all just to say that I agree with the suggestion that you need to hire an Illinois attorney to represent your interests in this matter. Illinois won't allow anything to happen from Oregon. You can locate an Illinois attorney through the search function on attorneyqna.com or through the Illinois bar association's attorney refferal service. Good luck!
