Is there a form in CA to find out ex's income (revisiting support), and will he have to pay attorney fees?

I haven't revisited support in 15 years. At that time he made 100k, I make 24k. Older child is turning 18 and I need to recalculate. I have attempted to reach a stipulation but he refuses. Two questions, one is that I seem to recall a form that would ask for his income to do a dissomaster, or do I just use FL150? Second, in your experience, will the judge make him pay my attorney fees? I can't afford one but I am sure he will get one once I file modification of support.

You can use the judicial council form FL-396. Attorney's fees may be payable under Family Code 2030, but you should consult with a local family law attorney and give them more information about your case.

Yes there is a form to request an new Income and Expense Declaration. You did not say whether or not you were married to the father or if this was a parentage action. Are you also getting spousal support? You have a right to request one from your ex once a year. He is supposed to provide you with his pay statements and most recent tax return. If you have more than one child and the oldest is aging out of support your child support may go down, so you might want to consider this before you file for a modification. If you are getting spousal support, you should be able to request an increase because your son is aging out. If he makes more money than you and refuses to discuss a settlement, you can ask for attorney fees and may be awarded fees. Particularly if he gets an attorney and you cannot afford one, the court should award you some attorney fees. There is too much information needed to answer your questions with any detail. I strongly advise you to consult with a family law attorney, bring your current support order and/or Judgment. You need an attorney's advice.
