HELP! Is it legal for a judge to overrule another judge in a civil case with defendant having no knowledge of this?

Judge ruled in favor of the plaintiff giving him the items he already had as well as a monetary judgement, but specifically made the ruling he could take no more of the defendants possessions(we will call them rocks). Today the DA and sheriff came with a warrant going through everything and taking all of the rocks even though they did not belong to the plaintiff. Is there nothing we can do? Have never felt so violated and helpless as we did today.

The question as written is incomprehensible. One lawyer guesses criminal, I am going to guess domestic. In either event, you need to talk to an attorney about specifics, not incomplete hypotheticals about "rocks." Find an attorney on and consult with him or her about it -- judges do make mistakes.

If the plaintiff won a civil judgment, that does not affect the power of the government to pursue a criminal investigation. The State of Colorado is the party in interest in the criminal case and was not a party at all to the civil order. Therefore, there was no need for the orders of the civil court to be overruled in order to issue a search warrant. If the Sheriff took 'rocks' pursuant to a warrant obtained by the District Attorney, then that was part of a criminal investigation and has nothing directly to do with the civil case or obtaining things for the Plaintiff. You need a to consult with a criminal defense attorney and to refrain from making any statements to law enforcement officers.
