My mom and I was evicted after CPS showed with the town and ASPCA. The worker did not check into anything as no kids resided at the house. now he is suing me for repairs on the house. He is a slum lord. windows did not work, electric in the kitchen and laundry did not work, fuses blew constantly. He wants 5000. Should I sue him as a slumlord. Can I say thats why monies owed were not paid. He had security. Lived there 15 years.

The length of time you lived there has little or no bearing on this case. You can raise a defense of constructive eviction as an offset to owing rent or breach of warranty of habitability due to the electric not working etc. You can bring a counterclaim for damages as well. I suggest you hire an attorney or at the very least consult with one before you do anything.
