My Title VII Discrimination case was illegally dismissed in federal court to prevent a U. S. government agency from having to pay the judgment. Case was already in settlement process and deemed Title VII qualified. I have been advised by the appeals court that I would now have to motion to district court for the case to be reopened, however, the judge that illegally dismissed the case has locked me out of filing any additional motions regarding this case. How can I get my case reopened? I have solid proof of discrimination by this court, abuse of power, corruption, conspiracy, white collar hate crime and total disregard for civil rights laws.
Do you have a lawyer, or are you pro se? If you have counsel, this is something you should ask them, if not I would consult with an attorney, as to help with these procedural issues.

It may be that because the case was dismissed, ECF will no longer allow you to file motions electronically. If so, you may need to contact the district court clerk's office to find out how to file a motion now. Be aware, however, that if the case was dismissed, there was a reason to do it. If the judge issued a decision, you should review it carefully because if you do not correct the problems with your case, it will be dismissed again. Meanwhile, be aware that you only have 30 days to file a notice of appeal of the dismissal order. Federal law is complex and the court will not make accommodations for you because you are pro se. You should consult with a lawyer. If your case is as strong as you think, a lawyer will be willing to represent you on a contingency basis.
Sometimes the practical answer is more important than the legal answer. This may be one of those cases. When people are trying to understand how to practice law in federal courts, it is sometimes best to step back and suggest that they not do that at all. It is possible for you to proceed without competent counsel at this point, but it seems to me the best advice I could offer is to find an attorney quickly that practices in the federal court where your case was filed. Obviously, your case is not going well and I think you are going to need some help.
