If an employer terminates an employee and months later still has the termination paper hung up for anyone to see, is it legal?

I would imagine in most circumstances they would file the paperwork, it's just seems like it's a trophy more than anything if it's still hanging up 2 months after dismissal.

No matter what it is a crappy situation. There really isn't any such thing as things being "legal"; only illegal. So, is that illegal? I don't think so. Is it in bad taste, and show your employer is probably a douche; yes.
