I had car work done at sears auto center, and right after I was driving to work and it breaks down. What should I seek from them

The car repairs included transmission work, which was the cause for the breakdown, the car was still running, just wouldn't move. Before the repairs the car worked fine, just leaking tranny fluid but driveable. The total for the repairs was $915 or so (2 tires, tie rods, transmission lines, wheel bearings) The car broke down on the busiest street during traffic ~6:45pm. We had to call 9-1-1 and had the car towed back to them, but they close the shop at 6, so we now have to wait for the following day to get the repairs fixed. The repairs also took an extra hour and a half to do (4 & 1\2 hrs total), and the mechanic working on the car got frustrated when it came to the transmission lines and was cussing and possibly throwing things.

Not enough info is given. Did they end up fixing the car? Did they charge you extra or do the extra work for free? Are you actually out of pocket anything, or are trying to sue just for the inconvenience?
