Could I sue the theater owner, and what kind of lawyer do I need?

I work at a movie theater that is independently owned. A manager has kicked me "jokingly", causing me to almost fall. I have also been verbally abused by the same manager to the point that I don't want to go into work anymore but I really need the money. The kicking occurred when I was seventeen, I am eighteen now. The owner had a meeting with all employees and told us she knows about the manager kicking me specifically and another employee, yet the manager has not been fired and continued the behavior even after the meeting. I'm not injured but I can't guarantee that I won't be in the future.
Can you sue for injuries before they occur, no you can't. But you should know that any unlawful touching of you even just a tap is considered BATTERY in the state of Florida (civilly not criminally, this is not the definition if you are calling the police) and you can sue him for "damages" that resulted. Now keep in mind you don't really have a lot of damages it sounds like. If something does happen and real damages occur, yes you will most likely have a very strong case. Right now I don't see you having such a case.
Also note that the owner is liable for negligent hiring and negligent supervision under the narrative you have up there, but again you need to show damages to have a good case.
Good luck I hope that helps. My primary advice though is just find a new job rather than risking your health.
