EAD for H4 approved spouse in premium processing
Anonymous7 views5 answers
1) My I140 is approved and as per the law passed recently, I am planning to apply for EAD for my spouse that has approved H4. Is there a way I can expedite this process using premium processing?
2) My current H1 is approved till June 2016 and so is the H4 of my spouse. My employer's attorney said that the EAD also will be approved until H4 expiry date, that is June 2016. So, a couple of months before June 2016, should I keep applying for EAD extensions along with H4 extensions? In that case, how much would be the filing fee for US Dept of Homeland Security?
There is no premium processing for a work permit. It is your choice whether to apply for work permit extensions, and the filing fees can be found on the uscis website.
There is no Premium for H-4 EAD. At present, EAD immigration fees is $380 and it depends on you whether you want to file renewal of EAD for your wife or not.
There is premium orocessing of H1b and it will typically extend to an H4 if accompanying the H1b, however, whether the expedite process will extend to an H4 I765 has not been stated or even mentioned in any USCIS FAQ or guidance.
