H1B Stamp states annotation "Clearance received". If i change my employer, will i still get 221g in future?

I did my H1B stamping in Kolkata consulate. I am a Mobile App developer, but the consular misunderstood that i deal with network encryption/security and gave me a 221g from my current employer. After 5 weeks , i got my H1B stamp. The H1B Stamp states annotation "Clearance received on :April 26th, 2015". My question is. 1. I read that, once you get "security clearance" annotation , you will get 221g every time you go for stamping. Is it true? 2. If i change my employer and work for a different employer (not in security domain). Will i still get a 221g for security clearance? Please let me know

The fact that you have received the "security clearance " annotation does not mean that you will be exempt from further requests for another clearance in future applications for a non- immigrant visa.

The Embassy can always run a background clearance check in association with any visa application.

I agree with the prior counsel's response that an embassy can run a background check in association with any visa application. Beyond that, there are specific rules/requirements on changing employers while under an H1B. There are more issues in this question than those you pose, for example, the alleged "misunderstanding" may become an issue if a consular officer believes you perpetuated the misrepresentation. I would recommend consulting with an experienced immigration attorney.

I would not put too much thought into this. There must be something in the petition which got the Officer curious for more information.
