How to enforce an Oregon custody order in Washington state?
I was awarded custody of my child 2 months ago. Mother lives in Washington state I live in Oregon where jurisdiction has been established. Mother was supposed to meet with the child 3 times at a meeting place as stated in parenting plan on specific dates. Mother has failed to show up or follow the Oregon custody order at all. At this point I feel it's in the best interest to use enforcement to retrieve my child.
What is the process to enforce my Oregon custody order across state lines into Washington?
I've heard I need to register my order in Washington, but doesn't that give Washington jurisdiction?
I need help. I am pro se as I can not find an affordable attorney in my area.
