Who is responsible for roof damage if branches of a tree extend over the property line and rest on his neighbor's roof?
Who would be responsible for any costs to trim the branches?

There would be no liability by the tree owner as the tree is naturally growing. However, the owner of the other house could cut the limbs back to the property line if he/she so chooses. Good luck.
