Best to get the answer from the folks who write (and re-write) the rules. http://www.ed.gov/blog/2015/01/top-5-fafsa-faqs/

This is really a student loan question and not a criminal defense question. The student loan criteria change from time to time. I am familiar with problems caused by drug-related convictions, but not criminal damage to property. The answer may be very different if the destruction of property happened at the school for which you are receiving financial aid.

The link to the Department of Education's FAQ on this is here: https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/eligibility/criminal-convictions I would note, however, that just because the federal government says you're eligible for aid doesn't mean the school has to accept the aid on your behalf, so if I were you I'd contact the financial aid office at whatever school you're attending and make sure your misdemeanor convictions don't render you ineligible by THEIR standards.
