Manhattan parking ticket late fees

So I got a parking ticket while in Manhattan ($60) and I was late by 6 months in paying (don't ask!). The amount swelled to ~$130 with all the late fees. Is there anyway to get rid of the additional baggage or should I just suck it up? Any help would be appreciated.

Just go ahead and pay it. I'm guessing from the "dont ask!" comment that it wasn't a valid legal excuse...

You could always try to get the case back in calendar and fight it, but it would likely be more of a headache than its worth. You can hire a lawyer to do all this, but you might be spending more in lawyer fees than you would if you just paid it.
