How does a PPO work in a public place? If I have the PPO does he have to leave if he shows up or do I?

Does it matter who shows up first? If we both stay in the same public place but don't communicate will the PPO still be voided? If I'm there and he shows up am I supposed to have the establishment ask him to leave or call the cops? Please help.

The court has normally ordered the respondent in the PPO case to stay away from the petitioner. You should read your PPO order to determine what it says. If the respondent is ordered to stay away from you, she must obey the order and leave the area where you are located.

If you are not clear on the requirements of the PPO, take some time to review the details that are on the document. If you are still unclear, it may be worth your while to contact an attorney to review it with you.
