I was watching porn on my phone and then it asked for a browser update (which it has never asked me for that.) and the it takes me to an FBI page with Obama on the top right hand corner, and tells me to pay a $500 fine within 24 hours and tells me the stores I can get the paypal card at. It also said that if I pay it within 24 hours that I'll get $400 back. Is this fake? PLease I am so scared and don't have that type of money :(

Yes, it's fake. Call the FBI if you want to verify. In the future, be careful where you get your porn.

Of course it's fake. We get a lot of questions in here from people in the same circumstance, only some of them actually have had their computers locked up by malware from the websites. A porn site is a good place to pick up a virus or ransomware, so do a virus scan .

Its a scam run out of Eastern Europe. Do you really think that the FBI would lock up your computer without a court order and then instruction to go to Walgreens, purchase a Green Dot card refill and send them the number? You inadvertently downloaded malware (also known as randsomware) on to your computer and it will lock up your computer. It can be removed. Google "FBI scam" and you will find instructions.

The FBI does not lock up your phone or computer until you pay ransom. Your phone is infected with a virus, trojan horse, bot, etc. from the porn site. Sorry this has happened to you, but yes, that is the very definition of irony.
