The letter reads : The evidence you submitted with your form I-821 D .... to establish that you have continuously resided in the US during the 5 year period immediately before June 15 2012 and up to the time off filing is insufficient. No evidence was submitted to show continuous residence in the year 2015 up to the time of filing. When we filled we sent in medical records from here in the US, High-school DP, Official Transcripts (Graduated 2009) , after that we had joint bank accounts - electricity bills (2009-present) , car loan (recent) and rent documents (20010-2014) - We are not sure what else they are looking for . Are they referring before 2007 ? He was in school. Can you please help.

Hi, thanks for your question. After a quick glance at what you said you submitted, they seem to be asking for evidence of residency up to the time of filing. The evidence you shared seems to stop at about 2014, with the rent. Electricity bills are not a very strong form of evidence. If you have medical records, a library card, perhaps other bills, such as cable tv, or a certificate from a certain event, gathering as much evidence helps more than any single piece. As long as it covers the time period, you should be fine. Best wishes!

You should really talk to an attorney, this isn't a simple matter of mailing a bunch of bills to CIS. They appear to feel that there is lack of proof for TWO time periods: 1. 2007 (get school records and make sure the dates are highlighted) 2. from 2015 until the date of filing (I suggest that you add stuff up-to today, or whenever you mail in the RFE.) Talk to a lawyer, many of us do low-cost Skype consultations.
