What are considered medical negligence?

10 views 5 answers
When is it necessary to consider obtaining the counsel of an attorney for medical malpractice when after the premature early release from the hospital when the patient kept mentioning of Eye pain then, on the same day of release the patient got sick from likely contracted virus while in their care at the hospital? How do I find whether this is an often normal part or reaction of patients release from hospitals? Is it reasonable to be concerned or nothing to be overly reacting? What are the guidance for taking in to consideration with or going about this? Many thanks

To succeed in a medical malpractice suit it must be established that the medical provider was negligent by providing a care that fell below the community standard of care. That negligence caused your injuries. Furthermore, this must be supported by a medical expert testimony. That being said, you need to schedule a consultation with an experienced medical malpractice attorney to go over particular facts of your case.

I agree with attorney Sherman. You can use the "find a lawyer" tool on this site to find lawyers who offer free consultations.

Whether there was medical malpractice is a question that normally can only be answered by a medical expert. Talk to a medical malpractice lawyer in your area. He or she can have your medical records reviewed and determine if there was a violation of a standard of care.
