Can my landlord evict my son from my home when he is on probation and this is his place of residence?

My son is on probation in district 3 in Idaho. My landlord was upset that we pulled a trailer home for extra room. He comes by this afternoon and tells us that my son and that trailer must leave the place in 2 hours. My son not wanting any trouble does. He has a curfew of 9 p.m. and has nowhere to go. What can be done?

Unless it is a violation of the law, CCRs or a specific provision in your lease/rental agreement it is likely the landlord cannot evict your son. It sounds to me like your landlord is being unreasonable and overstepping his rights. I would consult with legal counsel, have him or her review your lease agreement, and if warranted write a demand letter to your landlord telling him to cease and desist from interfering with your right to possession of your leased home. Good luck.
