I want to get my daughter custody. Her grandfather(mother side) has full custody. He said he would give me the full custody, since the mom is not capable to take care of my daughter. I want the custody before taking the girl with me. I just don't want to have any problems. What is the right way to process this plan. Can he transfer my daughter custody through the court, lawyer or notary? thank you very much for your advise.
I don't understand your question. Who are these people? Are you asking about getting your daughter custody of her own child? Are you asking about getting custody of your own child who is underage? Please repost this with a clearer description of what it is you are asking about
If you are seeking to modify an order that previously gave grandfather custody, I'd suggest meeting with an attorney to get the modification process started. If everyone is in agreement you can quickly get temporary and/or final orders in place so that you will have a legal documents protecting your rights.
