I am working in US on H1B VISA which will expire in another 1 year. Now, I wish to study and applied for F1 VISA. I am travelling to my home country for F1 VISA stamping. On my return, will I be able to work for just 2 weeks on H1B before I can join college? Does the H1B automatically get invalidated when F1 is stamped?

No, once you enter on F-1 you will only be F-1, which will not authorize employment for your previous H-1B employer (or any other employer). Do not change to F-1 until you are ready to stop working. If you would like, you could pursue some studies while on H-1B and get F-1 after. Speak to an immigration attorney before you change your status.

Are you in the U.S. or abroad? You are confusing status with visa.

Hi, you cannot have two non immigrant visas at the same time. You may change your status (cos) from h1b to f 1 in the States.

If you are admitted in F-1 status you may not work.
