My husband was assaulted by a man upon leaving a parking lot. The man and wife were in the car in front of my husbands. He got out and a approached the the car two children and my husband were in the car. My husband got out and as my husband turned to look at the kids the man picked him up and head slammed him into the concrete. the struggled but the man was to strong. My husband was out weighed by 75 to 100 lbs. this resulted in cracked ribs, hematoma on the head, abrasions, two tore meniscus and a detached ACL. these required surgery. We filed a report with the police and another a few weeks later because we found that we shopped at the same store and he was harassing him every time he saw him. The detective seemed helpful until he found out that the man was in the police academy .
