I believe that they will keep trying to serve him. In the meantime, the temporary order will remain in place (assuming that it was entered to begin with). The court date will keep getting pushed back.

The officer of the court will continue to attempt to serve him with the injunction. You can periodically check with the Clerk of Court to verify the status of the service. Your daughter needs to be careful not to have any contact with him because the provisions of the injunction are not enforceable until/unless he is properly served.
