How can I ask the court to court order all communication between my ex and I through our time sharing limitation?

I'm pro sec and I know I should have an attorney to assist me with my case for good results but unfortunately I'm part of the pack that can't afford to hire an attorney and pay my regular bills which I'm struggling with. Legal aid won't help because they said they don't deal with custody cases. It's been really difficult trying to co parent with my ex & since there is no court order parenting plan as yet my ex just comes & see our daughter whenever he feels like, maybe once every month or every other month. He finally asked for an over night & I told him sure. He never Showed up & he didn't called to cancel but still he petitioned the court for equal timesharing. He made arraignments again after not showing up and we agreed on the over night stay and never showed up again or called

Anything that you would like the court to do (after filing your initial petition) you can do by way of a Motion. A motion is simply a request made to the court order something. After you file your motion, you need to set it for hearing to make sure you give the other side an opportunity to argue his or her view. Once you file the motion, the best way to get it schedule is by contacting the judge's judicial assistant who will tell you when the judge's next available date is for your motion. There are facts missing, but it seems that you need to have the court enter a temporary timesharing schedule as well as order that communication between you and the father is done in a specific matter. In the meantime, I would make sure to document everything, keeping a log or diary that details when he visited, when he failed to show up, etc. If my answer was helpful or the best answer for you, please mark it.
