I'm in a timesharing ligitation and there isn't any temporary time sharing in place. Our child had her first over night and my ex told me he would drop the child of in the morning. I messaged him asking what time he will be bringing the child back and no response. I'm really worried because it the first time the baby is having an over night and I don't know if everything is ok or he will bring her back. I mean if he wasn't gonna be on time wouldn't be appropriate to at least message me and say something. I'm freaking out if something is wrong. He is the father and its recognize by the court but am I allowed to call the cops if I haven't herd from him if we made arrangements to drop the child off and he hasnt

If by “pending litigation” you mean that you and your ex are still going through dissolution proceedings or paternity proceedings then there’s not a whole lot you can do unless you feel like the child is in danger, in which case you can call law enforcement to do a wellness check on the child. However, if there is no court order requiring a certain timesharing schedule and he has been adjudicated the father, then both parents have equal time to the child and law enforcement will likely not get involved.
