You need to contact a CPA or tax attorney. Your question is not one of immigration law but rather tax law.

You have not posed an immigration question. I suggest that you contact a qualified and experienced accountant or CPA to assist you with information regarding your tax liabilities regarding your inheritance. Good luck to you.

As a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident, you will file an income tax return on your worldwide income. Whether or not you pay an income tax depends on your situation. An inheritance is not subject to income tax.
