Ask the police in that area. They will ask you why you want to know, but ask them anyway. They may help you. They may not. Then go to the town hall and ask for public records. Do a land records or registry of deed search. Social Security numbers usually reveal where people are working, but you may need a PI to do this type of research. Some states have criminal records searches. Some Courts have public records. People can't simply "hide" from public records searches. Some people simply stay off the radar screen like lots of other people.
