Was behind on mortgage by 8 months. Got info from servicer stating we had to cure default by may 26, 2015 with a total of 6351.42, which according to their document included: past due 5912.58 expenses paid by servicer - 419.00 Unapplied expenses - 19.44 totaling 6351.52 followed up that they got the wire transfer, have a recorded conversation with a rep stating all we had to pay in june was 352.99 and that the 419.00 was to be applied to june payment of 743.99. We are now getting ph calls saying they made a mistake and moved the 419.00 to the wrong place and that we owe 419.00 AGAIN. How can that possibly be when they accepted the money per their breakdown of the account. We have several recorded calls stating they were wrong? we paid the 6351.52 on 5-21 via wire transfer. how to approach?

It sounds like they have made an error in applying your funds correctly. I would do two things, first, submit a qualified written request to your servicer and request a full accounting of your file. the location to send a qualified written request can usually be found on the servicer's website. If you cannot locate it, I would call and ask for the address to send the request to. Next, I would call back and ask for a supervisor. Supervisor's generally have a better understanding than the initial person you will speak with. ask them to walk through each payment and application of funds. In the mean time, I would continue making your regular payment to ensure they do not commence foreclosure and to avoid incurring late fees.

I agree. It looks like they have made a mistake. Follow Mr. Cullen's advice, and I would add to the written request, proof of the payments you've made. It might speed the process.
