Can my landlord who is an attorney file for an eviction and civil claim, then hire another attorney to rep him w/out notifying?

landlord is an attorney and filed the lawsuit, at the eviction hearing there was another attorney representing him, the eviction was dropped but the civil case was not. Both attorneys have filed different motions regarding the civil trial but they are not part of the same law firm. Is this grounds for dismissal?

I don't see how this could be grounds for dismissal. Anyone has the option of representing themselves in a civil lawsuit (they are drawbacks to this, but it can be done) or hiring someone else to represent them. Sounds like you need to consider other options. See a consumer attorney in Columbus and review the complaint to see if you have options.
