next month will be eight months since i sent off my removal of conditions application and seven months since my bio metric interview and not heard a thing uscis site shows Vermont as being at November 3rd 2014
would it be worth phoning them up in august to see whats going on as my last resident card took 13 months to process if they had not took so long i would have qualified this year to apply for citizenship if i wished to do so
any advice getting frustrated as my resident card expired in april
Don't waste time looking at the CIS online 'status' system, it is broken and rarely accurate.
Did you file a waiver application?
Did you have at-least 2 notarized affidavits, at-least 24 months of bank, credit card, lease and other bills?
Were you joint filers on your tax return? Did you include copies?
If your last card took that long, your file was probably 'flagged' by the original interviewer for 'close inspection' this time.
Get ready for a possible surprise home visit.
