Aug 1 2015,easton rd doylestown PA. The only thing I remember before being t-boned was my fiancee talking to me about going to kiddie castle for our daughter (in the back). Seeing a stop sign, stopping, looking both ways (no stop signs left nor right) no one was there, got to the middle of the intersection and I felt the wind getting knocked out of me,gearing crunching, daughter screaming and glass braking. Everyone is in alot of pain,my daughter is okay, scratches. Him and I have nothing broken just alot of bruises and scratches. We both blacked out ,He was in shock, came out of it in Abington Hospital PA My vechile is totaled and the other driver's car has little damage. The police had me get out of my car,on the side of the road asking me abunch of questions, and put words in my mouth.

I'm so sorry to hear that your family has been through this trauma. It sounds like a truly terrifying experience for all of you. While it's fortunate that no one was hurt worse, I hope all of you are getting any follow up care you need to make a complete recovery. (Your own insurance should be paying for that medical care, by the way.) There aren't enough details here in this post to determine who exactly is at fault, but you should know that you may still have the grounds to pursue a personal injury claim against the other driver even if you are found partially at fault, as long as you are less than 50 percent at fault. My suggestion at this time is to reach out to an attorney with experience handling Pennsylvania car accident cases for a free consultation. Use the opportunity to go over the details of the situation, including what happened at the time of the accident and what specific injuries each member of your family sustained. Once an attorney has all of the facts, he or she can help you figure out what options you have and what the next steps should be. You can use the Find a Lawyer tool above to locate a highly-rated attorney who has handled plenty of complex Pennsylvania car accident claims. Best of luck to your family at this difficult time.

There is a lot to this situation, including possible claims by your fiancée and your daughter against your automobile insurance carrier which should not be ignored. At this time an attorney needs to review your facts and the police incident report. You should seek a consultation at your earliest convenience.

Any accident is terrifying. Having your child in your car with you makes it all that much worse. It sounds like you need to speak with a personal injury lawyer. If the police decide you are responsible for the accident, that isn't the end of the story. Disputes as to responsibility are common. If it does turn out you are at fault, then your fiancee might be in a position to sue you due to her injuries. So she needs to see her own attorney. Understand, it is common for passengers to sue drivers, it isn't a personal thing. It just depends on who is responsible for the accident. If the other driver is responsible for the accident, what matters here is whether you chose full tort or limited tort for your car insurance. Your fiancee's decision, if she is on her own insurance policy, will matter as well. If you have soft tissue injuries from which you quickly recover, and I hope this is the case, and you have limited tort insurance, even if the other person is responsible, you won't be able to recover for pain and suffering. If you have full tort insurance, you will be able to seek recovery for pain and suffering. If you have limited tort, but your injuries pass a certain threshold, then you might be able to recover for pain and suffering. As you can see, there is a lot to figure out here. Given this, the only way to figure out how best to proceed is to get a free consultation with a lawyer. I would suggest you seek one sooner rather than later. My best to you and your family.
