I was placed on support for my son three years ago, this year i was placed on support for my daughter with another mother. I made more money the 2nd time so the order is higher. I was just let go and cannot fulfill my obligation. i cant afford a lawyer.
This will be easier to accomplish if both orders are in the same county. If so, you can file a motion to modify for both orders at the same time and the magistrate should hear them back to back, hopefully. If they are in different counties, you may try talking to the case workers in both counties and seeing if they will communicate with one another (which some counties do) to recommend "splitting" the child support to their respective county expedited process courts. There are other possible scenarios, however. You say you can't afford a lawyer. There are a variety of legal services clinics and organizations throughout the Twin Cities. You could try talking to one of them to see if they will help you prepare and file your motions.
Good luck.
You need to file motions to modify child support in the county where each case is located. you also need to do so immediately. Child support will not be modified retroactively absent agreement of the parties. Accumulating arrears can burden you for many years and cause issues with your driver license. Take action now. Good luck.
