Will he be release during the gap in his sentencing?

my fiance has been serving time since June 21st at the work release center, they said with his good time he should be done with that case's sentence with in two weeks, he also has another case that is still pending but they have not sentenced him yet, the trial has been waived but the authorities have not made a decision on the sentence yet. My Question is, will he be released, temporarily and just have to check back in to the work release or will they just make him sit with out a case or a sentence until they decide

The answer depends on if your fiance has a cash bail on the pending case that would hold him in custody until he is sentenced. If there is no cash bail he would be released once he finishes his current sentence. If there is a cash bail and he cannot post it he would be held until his new sentence is served.

This is a great question for your fiancée's attorney. Your fiancée's attorney will have a handle on what the bail is on the case awaiting a sentencing hearing. In situations where a person has entered a guilty or no contest plea, the court can have a cash bail, a signature bond, or can revoke bail and remand to the custody of the sheriff to await sentencing. If bail has not been revoked, then your fiancée would be released if he posts whatever bail is required.
