He owns a rental property(s) here & has started & closed several companies, I believe & so do many that he is a white collar criminal. He "produced" so call documents in court that he is appealing this ban, but that was 3 yrs ago and has never been brought up again. He is now been away for 4 yrs. I'm looking for a way to find out his official status, he is constantly taking me back to court anywhere from 3 to 8 times a year for less child support, visitation, lies of $ he says I owe, while he hides all his money. I have had our son 90% of the time & 100% of the 1st 2years of the ban and he has never paid extra in child support. Do I need a family law attorney to get an answer to the above question, or an immigration attorney?

The normacy arguments has long been lost and the Congress decided that it was normal. What is normal cannot be decided in vacuum. For a country constantly combating the influx of individuals who do not respect its laws, what is normal is very different than for a country which does not have this problem.

U.S. Congress created the three and ten year bas for entry for overstays and in certain cases one may consider filing a I-601A Waiver to overcome any attachable bar provided there is another immigrant relief available which that bar hold up, yet, that discussion should be in confidence with your selected counsel.
