they are switching to ISP model which now you have to have 5 routes or 500 stops to keep working for them....I have 1 route and have contracted with them for over 25 years , now they don't want me...I have no pension,health,vacation...nothing from them over these years.....I do not want 5 routes, I have done nothing wrong....so come april 2016, I'm done for nothing I did....this has taken place in many other states , with many lawsuits, and I'm in pa. and want to find out who I can talk to here...I have to do something, this is no right....thanks
You have not provided enough information for a reliable response. Further, this may be a bit complicated for this forum. A consultation with a local employment or contract attorney may be your best option. However, you mention that you work by contract and contracts have terms. Typically, if the term has expired then neither party is obliged to renew the contract. Please be sure to gather all your important documents and bring these to your attorney consultation. Good luck.
Contact a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice that handles employment matters. This unfortunately may be an injustice the law doesn't covered. If you are an employee you can be fired for no reason--so as you aren't an employee your only right is each year's contract. While "course of dealing" does have weight, not so much if each year you have a contract. Maybe talk to a union ---see if you guys can get organized as one?
