I'm 6 days late on an auto payment for a used car I bought in Delaware. The used car dealership shut off my car remotely. I had no idea they could do this because they never fully disclosed this practice to me at the time of purchase nor did they tell me a device like that was ever installed. However they did tell me about a 15% late fee I am more than willing to pay in the retail installment contract. Because of the car getting shut off I lost a part-time job I depend on. If I knew about the device I would have never bough the car in the first place. Is this grounds for a lawsuit?

You will need to consult with a Delaware attorney since you bought the car in Delaware. It depends on the language in the sales/loan contract whether it gives them the right to do this.
