Not the fingerprint appointment nor the receipt of the application was mailed to me though it has been two months since the application was submitted.

If you have the I-589 filing receipt, you should be able to follow up on the fingerprint scheduling. Contact your attorney for proof of mailing.

The only person who can definitively answer your question is your lawyer. He or she should have this information first hand. We cannot answer this for you. We did not file anything on your behalf and We do not have the information.

Your attorney would be provided courtesy copies of the application filing receipt and biometrics appointment notice. Have you spoken with him/her? How was the application sent? You may be able to confirm delivery if you have a tracking number.
