Is there a daily rate to deduct from rent for an unusable stove?

My stove igniter went bad on the stove in June. The landlord did not replace it until 3 weeks later. The replaced stove was emitting carbon monoxide until the public service red tagged it.

There is no such thing. You should however try consulting with a local landlord tenant law attorney to see what options you may have. Good luck.

Only a judge can grant a rent abatement. They are not often granted and rarely a windfall. The best amount to withhold is the cost of the stove if this was supposed to be included as part of the tenancy. If you are evicted, you give the judge the receipt for the stove, which should have been given to the landlord when you withheld the rent.
